Thank you so much for being a part of our day, everyone spoke really highly of your performance during the day, and then of course with the band during the night. We are glad that we opted for live music as it really set the right tone for the day and night, and the dance floor wasn't empty once. The only criticism we heard was that someone was waiting for a 'bad song', so they could leave the dance floor to get a drink and rest, and it never came, haha!
Your professionalism and communication throughout our booking was excellent and you really put us at ease. Of all of the things we could've worried about, music was a big one, however we didn't have any anxieties around this as you had it all in hand. It really made our planning smooth.

George stayed with us for the entire day, performing throughout the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, and even our first dance – for which he went above and beyond by learning a special song just for us. What a performance it was! His voice, presence, and talent brought so much warmth and atmosphere to the day – it was everything we hoped for and more.
In the lead-up, George took the time to hold a meeting with us to go over all the finer details, ensuring everything was just right. It was clear from that moment he had everything in hand and genuinely cared about making the day perfect for us.

Where do I start! We hired George for our festival themed, summer wedding and from the moment we made contact with him, the experience couldnt have gone better. He took the time to understand our needs, the vibe of the day and catered to us perfectly. His communication prior, on the day, and even after the event was amazing. On the day itself he fit perfectly within our theme, playing all the right songs and background music when needed. Everyone loved him and he added a laid back, calming vibe whilst playing. He fit in so well, a number of our guests asked if he was a friend of ours. If my review doesn't make it obvious, we can't recommend George enough.

Our wedding was music themed and having various live musicians throughout the day it was important that we didn't have all artists playing the same songs. We were able to work closely with George to come up with a bespoke set list that reflected all of the songs that were personal to us and not rely on a normal wedding set list. George's approach was professional and nothing was too much trouble. If you want to a live music act for your wedding day then we highly recommend George Wood, you won't be disappointed.
